The Ecclesial Framework
The four steps of the ladder as we are in Lexi Divina can, at least, be mapped on to one another. The Scripture reading is always theological, and theology is always ecclesial, it's always communal. To be embedded within the Church does not mean that our individual experiences and our individual life with God doesn't matter. Our individual spiritual life with God matters supremely because there's a judgment waiting for every single one of us individually.
