All 50 states have now voted to require only those types of cigarettes to be sold in their state. About 17% of civilian fatalities happen as a result of cooking equipment fires or fires involving cooking equipment. That's almost a third of the number of fatalities that occur in people's homes. What can be done to examine cooking equipment and perhaps make it so it will shut itself off?
