In the days of Jesus, there are probably about 60 million people in the Roman Empire at the time. For most of them, we have no information at all. We don't have contemporary records for Jesus if we want to know exactly what he said and did. Our primary sources of information are the Gospels of the New Testament,. These are written between 40 and 60 years after his death.
