Octavian's Conquest of Sicily

The two fleets met off the northeast coast of the island near the city of nelochis. Lepidus, who had conquered most of sicily during the invasion, suddenly decided to reassert himself in the triumvirate. Octavian scoffed at this notion and sent men into the ranks of lepidus legions to sew descent. After agrippa's victory at nelocus octavian now stood alone in the west. There was no one left to challenge his rule.
