The Importance of Temperature Records

In 1984, the highest temperature recorded in Dallas was 108 on August 19th. In 2022, the highest temp recorded was 108 in July 20th. The average for January 1984 was 39.3 degrees, compared to January 2023, coming in at 52.1. There are considerable jumps here.
