Is There a Constraint on Algorithmic Fairness?

There's a whole number of technical solutions that you can really dive into the weeds on. My concern is how do we create an environment where, you know, regardless of what the best technical solution is at any particular time? We want some flexibility to sort of allow our algorithms to evolve over time. And so if we want judges to be able to check their own biases by relying on algorithms, we need those algorithmic assumptions and the data sets that underlie them to be public.
