China Won't Do Anything on Taiwan, Right?

There's no chance they'll catch up in a decade on technology, right? The Chinese domestics should probably end up not being able to buy anything. China just doesn't have any leverage back in the same way when the economy is weak. But I think it would be very weird, like the messaging would be so odd: Buy something from U.S., but don't purchase anything from America.
