Woodrow Wilson is celebrated for essentially birthing what we now know as international law. He had an expansive view of freedom and democracy as something that was the birthright of all peoples everywhere. Yet you can't talk about Woodrow Wilson without acknowledging that he went to his grave and a despicable unrepentant racist I mean this is a man who long after the Civil War was was done was an avid supporter of the Confederacy.
