Lowsfair's Perfect World
This is the first record that she makes that doesn't have a lot of stuff from like the girly sound tapes on it. This is kind of when her career starts to become analyzed as like, is she trying to be career? Is she trying to go to pop or whatever? There's a lot of great songs in here. And she's really starting to stretch herself. Totally. Why don't we hear Perfect World to set us off on this album? Because I think that's a really good example of her writing from the moment and sort of like stretching herself. But it still has that confessional sort of intimacy. Again, her lyrics are so incisive and so good.
