Marxism and the Jewish Question
Jewish intellectuals were exposed to all the contradictions and tensions of their time. And they almost naturally became the leaders of many revolutionary movements. So I don't think that we could explain that through the peculiarities of Judaism as a religion, because Jewish messianism is susceptible to merge with revolutionary ideas in other ways.
