Why Does God Involve Prayer in His Providence?
If you don't pray, you don't get the good things that god would give you if you did pray for them. God furnishes us with many things from his liberality, even without having been asked. But he also makes our receiving certain things conden content conditional on our asking for them. It's by prayer that we come to learn where all the good in our lives comes from. And it's a great dignity that god invites us into conversation with himself and even allows us to obtain good things from him through prayer.
