The Democrats and the Republican Party in the House of Representatives
Democrats are required structurally to disempower and disengage their base whereas the Republicans are totally aligned around the alliance between their interests and their bases interests. The Democrats cannot challenge that because they have an arm tied behind their back ever since 2009 when Obama intentionally destroyed this incredible grassroots machinery which had powered his presidency or his presidential campaign.
