The Karena Nebula
The final image released was from the karena nebula, which is one of these massive a nebulae that can be seen easily from the surface of the planet. A spitzer spent a great deal of time back in two thousand and five peering through this spetzer had a zero point eight five meter mirror. This means that it has roughly seven times the resolution. And what we're seeing is an edge of this giant molecular cloud that is collapsing and fragmenting as new stars are lighting up.
