The trick here is just finding the system that works best for you, and making sure that the system you're using isn't going to derail you. If your small task for easing yourself into thing is checking emal, but every time you check your email you have something come up, then checking email shouldn't be part of your easing into things routine. Or if you find trying to eat the frog just makes you procrastinate all morning, then maybe that's not the right system either. So we can ease into things by doing smaller things that we need to do and building a momentum to go big.
