The Effects of Nitric Oxide on Muscle Fatigue

He's speculating that maybe inside the cell that the nitric oxide is rather than affecting blood flow outside the cell that it might be having a regulatory function inside the cell by altering the protein. So if there's proteins directly involved in producing energy that can be nitrosylated then they would slow down. My guess is that there isn't any research on this but it's an interesting idea. Anyone else want to throw anything out there on this question?
