The biggest trends in emerging markets investing is going to be freedom waiting or some kind of variation on that. We're already seeing some copycat funds getting spun off, so now it's a category and that's great. I think millennials especially are aware of the impact of their dollars in emerging markets. Your dollars are making an impact one way or another. You're either funding the freer countries, the countries that are promoting freedom and peace across the world.

Perth Tolle is the founder of Life + Liberty Indexes and creator of the Freedom 100 EM Index (FRDM index). Prior to forming Life + Liberty Indexes, Perth was a private wealth advisor at Fidelity Investments in Los Angeles and Houston. Prior to Fidelity, Perth lived and worked in Beijing and Hong Kong, where her observations led her to explore the relationship between freedom and markets.
