Foucault's Archaeology of Knowledge

The archaeology of knowledge has a very different reception, it's not a hit but in some ways it might be a much more influential text. The writing of it seems to be, or at least the impression I got was it was much more of a struggle for him when he was developing that book. It goes through a number of different versions, there's a whole manuscript which Foucault looks like might be the book after the order of things and largely abandons. And that manuscript on philosophical discourse is going to be published in May this year so it's been edited by Daniel Lauren Zini and Razzo Herrera. We can see some of those processes of Foucault working
