How Not to Be Wrong is about how mathematics can help us avoid mistakes and errors of judgment. In the book, I take a relatively modest stance about what math can do because I don't think the real questions that we face cannot be answered by math alone. But if we try to remove mathematical thinking from our cognitive armamentarium, it's like on purpose, not using one of your five senses.
