What's the Difference Between an Anthem and a Revolutionary Song?
Anthems aren't really music, they're much more than that. A flag isn't really a piece of cloth with colours on it. An anthem isn't really asong. It is actually an object of state. And sometimes it can be object of kind of personal state. What purpose do they serve? Do you think? I think they serve two functions. The first of which is sometimes for a nation to say to the people, this is who we are and this is who you are. They are very strange emblems of countries. Wonder why we choose, choose a song and choose music.
