The Moral Panic of New Media

New media is a good scapegoat. You know, the violence and aggression. It's just kind of an easy thing to jump to in terms of that. Some people are actually not using real research or trying to push their own agenda into, you know, or transfer it into the public agenda. They kind of make money with it or their scientific career depends on that. So I think that is not true research in a way because research should be neutral. And nowadays they're really strict in controlling video games. That wouldn't say going away but the debate is more normalized which is nice.
