How Immersion Came to Be in My Learning
I did do immersion on the side as well as the book, but it wasn't very connected with reading from the book. I didn't actively try bridging anything from the textbook that much other than just investing time in the textbook. So when you were listening to your immersion material, you weren't like actively looking for pitch patterns or anything. You were just listening to it normally and doing most of your pitch training like via the textbook.
