The purpose of law school these days is to figure how you can excuse your behaviour in terms i give the illusion of continuity with he constitution. The more detailed it gets, the more they just circumvent it with some kind of rationalization. I think napoleon bonaparte got it right. He said a constitution should be brief and vague. It doesn't matter what the formal government is. Doesn't make tat much difference. Ah, and conversely, you can have a terrible constitution, formal constitution, but if you have like, you know, powerful unions and gilds and counties,. And so on.
