The Effects of Open Source on Disinformation

The jury is still out on the effects of open source because it's a new thing, so we'll need to wait and watch what happens. The state needs to have civic engagement or a literacy programs to be able to raise awareness and resilience of the public against this misinformation. We already have seen WhatsApp, like forwards creating a lot of issues because just the scale of it means that instead of reaching 100 people is not reach out 100,000 people.
