The Avalanche Consensus Process and the DAG Protocol
Avalanche has this notion of a primary network so the primary network is one subnet with three chains. There are no more any like actual day processes running on the network and everything actually uses a separate sub protocol that was not in the white paper called snowman. Most of those specifications of the evolutions are now in readmes and the avalanche go codebase if you want to read about it.
