The Importance of Teaching Economics
After completing his phd in economics, he taught for nine and a half years at the lebanese american university. He was disillusioned with academic life after realizing that it wasn't providing value to society. After several abortive attempts, bitcoin came along as an embodiment of ideas which he had been very concerned about but couldn't get around. His next two books focus on how hardness of money influences people's time preference.
