Do we need group selection to get the kind of co operation we want, or does individual selection theory account for it? i think thisis now basically, really uncontroversial, that selection acts tiple levels. And in some cases, you know, that people have argued that it makes sense to think of groups of individuals as being units of selection. But when it comes to human groups, i really don't think that the notion of group level selection, i er, is tenable.
