The Importance of Reporting in the Age of Awards
Sally Hayden's new book is about the refugee resettlement program and how it was corrupted. She spoke to former UN staff members who were found guilty of suggesting bribes in order to get refugees into safe countries. Sally also discussed her struggle with receiving awards for work while subjects you've written about are sort of stuck in the same place getting little benefit. Simon Stagg from travel writer Guy Stagg said he wished he'd started his career at a younger age so that he could help other people like him achieve their dreams. And we're going to hear more bonus material from previous guests on this week's show.
