Web Three and the Internet of Things

Onestli thinks this might be the first time somebody's heard nft or web three. Can you like to describe it briefly? I did 20 years in software, i'm pretty well up to speed on all this stuff. Nfts are basically just a digital token that shows that you own something and that ownership is registered on the block chain. The idea became how can we decentralize the inter net, so that each individual person has ownership of their data.
