The Cost of Healthcare in the US
I think what do I see having arrived into the US is this is a very, very individualized system here. You will pay your own individual insurance to make sure you've got good care and you're sort of relatively free to choose who you see throughout the system. Then if you go to somewhere like the UK or certain parts of Europe, it's much more of a nationalized system. That leads to a cost of medicines that is disproportionately high in the US but then you also have the freedom to get the very best and latest medicines because you're all paying for it as an individual patient, your own right.
