Quantum Computing Could Be the Next Big Thing in Cryptography
Of course chemistry is such an exciting field but it's not the only field where quantum computing will have breakthroughs one other area that people talk about a lot is the challenge of cryptography. How quantum computing might really threaten the way in which we secure messages across the internet and all to do with prime factoring. I think quantum computing suffers a little bit from having the word computing in its title which gets people to sort of you know think that oh this is the evolution of computing, he says.
