How to Write a Successful Book
A lot of the book is drawing different references. I actually had like eight rules of failure originally, but it was just gonna be too big of a fucking book. So I scrapped the other three and just figured out what were the five most important. And then each chapter had this anchor quote, you know, the premise,. I would layer in a personal anecdote and then an anecdote from somebody else, a virtual mentor to whoever it might be. It's people who took unorthodox paths, found their way into their own success path. However, that's defined in a way that wasn't laid out for them ahead of time.
