The former head of anti-doping laboratory in Moscow blew the whistle on a state-run initiative to provide Russian athletes with performance enhancing drugs. In 2013, there was this wellness clinic in Florida that had been supplying several major league baseball players with human growth hormones and otherperformance enhancing drugs. Alex Rodriguez admitted his doping to federal investigators in exchange for immunity from prosecution. The World Anti-Doping Agency Commission found evidence of an elaborate scheme which led to a four-year ban on Russia for the Olympic Games.
