Unsupervised Pre Training - A New Way to Train a Network of Models
Unsupervised pre training has driven a lot of success in AI. It lets you train one model with a whole bunch of layers, which are typically composed of convolutional layers. And so what this ends up creating is, if you chop off that last bit of the model, the part that does the taske you want. In the case of image base models, maybe that's classification or recognition. In the cases of text base models,. maybe that sentiment analysis or named entity recognition or something. What you end up with is this pre trained model that can actually transfer to a whole variety of tasks.
