Jim Sherwin played in the 1976 Lone Pine chess tournament. He says he was passed his prime and hadn't played serious chess for seven or ten years. His memories are that he played a whole string of like, who was the other American player there beginning with a mess? It was a commentator. And I took this win out of my sales, then I lost to Petros Gian also.
