The prosecution then set its sigts on the second defendant, in this case, chasey pointer. She led police to garza and said she never wanted him to kill her husband. Chasey insisted she tried to prevent that seperately but prosecutors didn't buy talk. They had raised the charge against her from conspiracy to murder. Michael garza was sentenced to 99 years in prison.
