Solo travel was a huge stepping stone to a lot of my understanding of my own interests, capabilities and. I feel like talking to strangers when you're on your own is a bit of a skill that one has to hone. Being open to the kindness that people have in most other cultures are much kinder than what I experience in America. You know taking the time to really read a room or read people and especially when you're traveling which is very hard for us Americans to do.
