On Becomeing Gods, Medical Training in Mexico

The book follows a cohort of interns as they learn to become doctors in public and private hospitals in puebla, mexico. The more i was working in these spaces the more witnessed a tremendous amount of mistreatment towards the female patients. And so after witnessing all of these for so many years, i really wanted to figure out why riht? Why was this violence so prevalent? Was it something that doctors learnt in medical school? Or was it something larger right? Something may be threaded through mexican society. It shiftsit from aone dimensional perspective intermore complex, three dimensional, floored, but also carrying human being.
