How to Measure Light in a Growing Facility
Most people think they can tell how bright the light is. They look at it and they say, that's pretty bright. An little brighter over here. But or the human eye, when whens the light is high, the iris contracts to just a pinhole,. It regulates the amount of light getting to the retina. The units we use are micromals, of photons per meter squared of area per second. And plants respond to that. They grow almost 200 times as fast outside as they would in a well lit office.
