There were reports of ballot boxes being snatched by armed men in southern states. Some polling stations opened late, and in some cases voting continued well into Sunday afternoon. This was always going to be a question of trusting the outcome. Nigerians are poorer today than they were eight years ago when the outgoing president took over. Food prices are skyrocketing, kidnapping has become a nationwide problem. A lot of Nigerians are super frustrated.
