A Brief Overview of the Ancient Greek Philosophy
In general, we can say if we're talking about Greek philosophy, which then we can extend into Roman philosophy as well. But when it comes to things that are kind of more systematic, it's really from the time of Socrates onward. The Stoics originate a little bit later and they're kind of blending together. Each of these major schools is putting forth their own sets of ideas. They're arguing with each other from time to time. Sometimes you might get mad at your fellow Stoic for not getting something right. And some more popular philosophers than others by the time that we're looking at the Roman Empire were skeptics.
