The Effects of Two Toys on Children's Communication

In experiments two and three, children played with two toys rather than just one. When the experimenter had seen children fail on that first toy, children were much more likely to want to then show that toy as a way of demonstrating their ability. The alternative explanation from experiment one is that what if children just want to avoid repetition or provide something new? That in ways that have nothing to do with what they understand about what this person thinks of them? Right. So we wanted to see depending on what we manipulate about the person's observations, can we drive this up and down depending upon what we manipulate in the study?"
