Well, it's a kind of freedom, particularly from the kind of straight jacket that most of our culture finds itself in. Very few people can hang out for long at that place where opposites are true. And so the ability to go back and forth and to change stories is actually a very important part of magic. There's a sense in which magic is simply a way of storytelling.
