How Much Student Debt Is Out There?
There is one point six trillion dollars an outstanding student debt in the economy. Nobody has been paying it for two years. People who borrow the most come from the most well off families. 60% of debt is held by the top forty % of earners in the economy, including doctors and lawyers. The typical borrower is this more well off individual with a modest repayment burden relative to their income.
