The Impact of Negative Consent Voting on Governance Decisions
Proposals typically follow a life cycle of hitting the forums via discussion and then finally hitting on-chain so if it's hitting you by surprise on-chain you probably weren't paying enough attention to what was going on in kind of the informal parts of governance. I wonder along with the general theme of like negative consent voting that has governance decisions grow and importance and scale that exchanges custodians staking providers like well eventually they do do this on the proof of stake chains basically adopt default decisions and we'll vote on your behalf unless otherwise dictated. i don't think the custodians and exchanges have really done this maybe i think finance has done it with like steam i don't know if you guys
