The Prickly Porcupine
The stranger looked for all the world like a huge black and yellow chestnut burr. Bowser backed away and began to circle around again, sniffing and snuffing. The stranger did not move. For all the signs of life he made, he might in truth have been a giant chestnut Burr. Finally, Bowser reached out and with his nose gently touched the prickly ball. Slap. The stranger's tail struck Bowser full in the face. And this is how prickly porcupine came to the green forest and won the respect and admiration of all the little meadow people and forest folks, including ready fox.
