Train Robbery - The Conductor's Gun
Two brakemen were found dead in an open box car on the train. The conductor called for help and ordered his crew not to leave their posts. Two deputies arrived at the scene within minutes of each other. They followed a trail left by some sort of vehicle along the railroad track. A spindly, long legged thing ran past them as they searched through the woods. It looked like a large rat or possum but was no more than that. And he swept the trees with his flashlight without finding any further sign of it.
