I always talk to brainstorm by putting things on paper bringing people together to discuss those years and then going back to them put more things on paper so if I was taught that that is the way to brainstorm for exactly that reason. You can quite easily have a dominant voice in the conversation that drives the thing but it may not always be the best idea or approach to take. People dismiss really good ideas fairly quickly because of who it comes from as well, she says. If you don't have conflict in a team you don't really have a team according to her. She tells students all the time: Conflict is an absolutely necessary step to get to commitment.
