The Blackface Comparison

I think the people who just instantaneously think that the blackface thing is just on its face stupid should think about why it is that identifying as black is just simply taboo and impermissible in our culture. Or a man isn't. I totally agree. They're different things. But do you know why they're different things? Can you explain it in a rational, coherent way that is consistent?
