H t f s limited and h d f c bank are merging. The 60 billion dollar deal is going to create a financial behement of epic proportions. With h t f c banks market share will jump from 11% to 15%. For context, india's largest bank, s b i, has a market share of nearly 26%. This will also mean that the merged bank will now be the size of its nearest competitor, i c iBank.
