The Importance of Authority in Modern American Society
In a Judeo-Christian society, like we once were, the average American sees God as very prominent in their life. Daniel's name means God is my judge; next week Nebuchadnezzar changes his name to Belty Shazar and he serves bell instead of God. If you don't have an authority, you will eventually lose your sense of identity and it will become moral anarchy. And that's where we're now living in modern American society.
